Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Jaipur → Jodhpur – The Blue City
Pickup from Jaipur. Drive to Jodhpur (6 hrs). Check in to hotel. Afternoon visit the mighty Mehrangarh Fort — one of India's largest forts, with panoramic views of Jodhpur's famous blue-washed houses. Visit Jaswant Thada (marble cenotaphs) and the Clock Tower market. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 2: Jodhpur → Jaisalmer – Golden City
Drive through the scenic desert landscape to Jaisalmer (4 hrs). En-route stop at Osian — ancient temples and sand dunes. Arrive Jaisalmer, check in. Afternoon: explore the magnificent 12th-century Jaisalmer Fort — a living fort still inhabited today. Visit the exquisitely carved Patwon ki Haveli and Salim Singh ki Haveli. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 3: Desert Camp & Camel Safari
Morning at leisure to explore Jaisalmer's bazaars and local crafts. Late afternoon drive to Sam Sand Dunes (40 km). Camel safari as the sun begins its descent over the dunes. Arrive at your luxury desert camp. Rajasthani folk music and dance performance. Bonfire dinner under a sky full of stars. Overnight in desert camp.
Day 4: Sunrise in the Desert & Return
Wake before dawn for a breathtaking desert sunrise. Morning photography walk on the dunes. Breakfast at camp. Drive back to Jaisalmer. Visit Gadsisar Lake — a tranquil oasis in the desert. Transfer to Jaisalmer airport/railway station, or begin return drive to Jaipur (available as add-on).
